Children's Books
At Pink Leaf Publishing, we believe that books can spark curiosity, build confidence and open the door to new experiences. Our children's books are designed to be engaging, educational and accessible – helping young readers develop new skills while enjoying the adventure of learning.
The Learn French with Rémi series was created to support children learning French in a fun and meaningful way.
During my time teaching French to primary children – a great passion of mine – I have searched for books to use in the classroom to support the learning and the options weren't great. So I decided to use my skills as a writer, teacher and designer to make and publish my own books instead, and that was when Rémi was born! Bonjour Rémi.
Designed to support the primary language curriculum, these books follow Rémi on his adventures, as he explores new places, discovers new things and encourages children to learn alongside him.
When completed the series will cover all of the topics covered in the primary French classroom, so will be an important resource for teachers to support language learning in the classroom. I know I'll be using them in my own classroom.
By presenting the language in both French and English, children can understand what they are reading, learn independently and develop confidence as they progress.
The bilingual format also makes it easy for parents and carers to support language learning at home, regardless of whether they speak French themselves.
I hope you enjoy reading these books as much as I've enjoyed creating them.
